Transnet Community Project - Mokone Primary

Description:

The Transnet Employee Volunteer Programme called 'Volunteers For Villages' was launched at Mokone Primary School in Langa, as part of Transnet's community upliftment projects.

Corporate Event Staging supplied the PA system, stage, lectern and profile spot for the formalities and then background music thereafter.

The challenge was definitely providing adequate power for all the urns as well as supplying the power to the tent for the speeches and choir entertainment. Additional power was supplimented by us in the form of a generator. With very heavy downpours throughout the event, we had to ensure the power requirements remained met.

The formalities went off well, and this initiative resulted in some valuable improvements being achieved at the school. We were proud to be part of this event.
