Hotel Verde Art Awards

Description:

The owners, Mario and Annemarie Delicio, have initiated and funded a project allowing grade 11 art students to decorate the walls of their green hotel. The project sees 45 grade 11 learners from various schools within the airport vicinity producing artworks in a variety of media which will form part of the hotel’s art collection. They held an award ceremony for the participating students. The event was held in the basement parking area of the hotel which has beautiful murals that was painted by graffiti artists. We provided a four speaker sound system, a front projection screen and a laptop for the event.
