This was an awards ceremony for horse racing hosted by Gold Circle at Nooitgedacht in Stellenbosch. We set up the equipment one day before the event, which gave us plenty of time for rehearsals. The show kicked off with two singers entertaining the guests at arrival. Next was the prize giving ceremony which incorporated a lot of video clips associated with the nominees and winners that had to be screened on cue. This was followed by some more singing and dance music from a dj.

We supplied a sound system with a podium mic for the master of ceremonies and speeches from the winners, a lapel mic for the co-host, two hand mics for the singers and audio connections for the dj. The videos were screened on two front projection screens along with camera relay and the sources was mixed with a seamless switcher. The videos were played from a laptop with two additional laptops as back-ups. We draped the area between the screens to create a black back drop behind the stage. The stage was lit with profile spot lights and par cans.

The ceremony went off without a hitch, all the cues were played on time and the event was a great success.
